<i>Vidyarthi</i> Mounts

Yesterday film Student. Today it is Vidyarthi. They are two different but not too different. Kannada film starring Mayur and Pooja Kanwal Student by LG Productions has completed shooting recently and it is all set for release. Now the Kannada meaning of Student title Vidyarthi was launched at Kanteerava Studio by producer A.J.Naidu on last Friday.

The Vidyarthi instead of holding notebook and pen picks up the sharp edged long what happens is the subject matter of director Nagachandra. Student is also not different from this concept. In Dhuniya of Soori a small boy working in a tea stall becomes rowdy and in another Kannada film Guna director Nagu says the children on footpath inevitably become rowdies. They are not allowed to become good citizens by the society is similar line both Soori and Nagu are sitting on.

In Vidyarthi Nagachandra is making debut as independent director. He gives the colorful costumes for the hero who holds the weapon in his hand. Tarun Sudhir second son of veteran actor Sudhir and stage actress Malathi (still running Karnataka Kala Vaibhava Sangha) is making debut as Vidyarthi. Nikita a Poona based girl daughter of Vicky D'Costa a key board player is the heroine of this film.

Tarun Sudhir has grown up in his life with art background. He has practiced dance for eight years and running a dance school in Rajajinagar. He has taken training in action scenes also. He holds a degree in Hotel Management that was conducted by Hotel Ashok in Bangalore. Then he worked in call center for sometime. In Jothe Jotheyalli, Excuse Me, Vishnu Sene he did small roles. I have been seeing my parents performing right from my birth and it is in my blood says Tarun Sudhir addressing the media. Tarun's elder brother Nanda a rotund personality is a comedy artiste on Kannada screen.

Director Nagachandra worked for 18 films in the camp as assistant to director S.Narayan, T.N.Seetharam, Raj Kishore, Pravin Naik and others. He has penned the story, screenplay besides doing direction for the film Vidyarthi. 'Prema Preethi' andhre Park suttodu alla. There is something else he wants describe on the silver screen.

Producer A.J.Naidu is a builder by profession. If the bank balance from this film builds up then he is interested in taking up more films. Completing shooting in August he intends to release the film in November.

P.K.H.Das is the cameraman and R.P.Patnayak scores the music for Vidyarthi. Avinash, Sharan, Bullet Prakash, Karibasavaiah, Sunil, Geetha and Thulasi are in the supporting cast.
