A film enthusiast B.R. Rajashekhar turned into a film producer and director through Amruthavaani which has completed its shooting except for a song. The film has Excuse Me Ajay and Naveen Krishna in the lead and Radhika is the heroine of the film. The entire unit was present except Radhika during the press conference organised to give details about the progress of the film so far. Cameraman Sundaranath Suvarna, Music Director M.P.Naidu (Music director Manoj Prabhakar has rechristened his name as M.P.Naidu through this film), Editor Suresh Urs were present.
The artists and technicians present were however in agreement with one thing. They reiterated that though it was the first film of B.R.Rajashekhar as a director, he had not showed any signs of nervousness or confusion during the making of the film. "He was very confident of what actually he needed from us. He would wait in patience till the right shot was taken. I sometimes tried to argue with him, but Rajashekhar was always convincing me and talking right' says Actor Naveen Krishna.
Ajay said that he had waited for almost one year since Oh, Priyathama was released and wanted a good script to work. 'Then I got an offer from Rajashekhar. I went to Rajashekhar sir's office with some doubts about his capabilities. But once he explained the story, I was really very hapy' said Ajay.
Music director Naidu said that Rajashekhar had come to him for getting musical training and had proved to be a good student. 'But when he came to me with this proposal of making the film, I was little bit surprised. But I am sure he would be making a good film, because he has extracted the best work from me' said Naidu.
Cameraman Sundaranatha Suvarna said that he had a good experience of working with Rajashekhar. He also said the artists have done the best job in the film.
Rajashekhar said that he had been a successful garment exporter and was always inkling to do a film. "My friends also encouraged me to direct the film. I wrote the script and decided to direct myself. All the artists and technicians have given me very good co-operation' said Rajashekhar.
