Vijaya Raghavendra is known for his passionate performances is now choosing different type of subjects to prove his variety. And now writer and director M.S. Ramesh has chosen Vijaya Raghavendra in a quite different role of a lover who surmounts many problems to get his lady love. The film we are speaking about is titled as Beladingalaagi Baa which has completed major portions of its shooting. The entire film unit was present to give details about their film in the first press conference about the film. Heroine Ramanithu Chowdhary who was also present in the press conference has become slim and chic these days and looks quite glamorous too.

'The story does not look quite different and may just be one of the run of the mill stories that you see everyday. But believe me that the film will give a different feel. There is a small disturbance in the form of an underworld backdrop in the story. Basically the film is a love story and the love element will be very important for the film. But the film has a different tone and colour and you will certainly notice it when you see it' says M.S. Ramesh about the film for which he is one of the producers.

The highlight of this film is the presence of well known writer Dr. Chandrashekhar Kambara in a key role of the film. Ramesh said that since Kambar suited the role he wanted to cast him but was little skeptical before approaching him. When he approached Kambar with the story all the anxieties vapoured out, he added. 'And after the first day of shoot Kambar was like any other experienced actor. Very easy to handle. Receptive to our requirement' appreciated Ramesh.

Kambar who had worked for 12 days in Shimoga and Bangalore said that he found acting a new experience for him. 'Though B.V. Karanth had earlier requested me to act, I had not accepted this offer. But Ramesh's story appealed to me as much as my character. I agreed and during the shooting I was guided by many young artists including Vijaya Raghavendra' said Kambar.

Vijaya Raghavendra said that though Ramesh sir had written dialogues and script for some of his films, it was the first time that he had encountered him as a director. "It may be a clich if I say that I had a good experience while shooting, but one thing I can tell you with lot of confidence. The film will be different and I have lot of scope for performance also' says Vijaya Raghavendra.

Rumanithu did not add anything more than telling that she had a good role and it is quite different from her first Kannada film Pallakki.

Actors Rangayana Raghu, Sanketh Kashi, Avinash, Veena Sundar and Shobha also spoke in the function. Builder Pramod and Actor Rajashekhara Naidu are backing this product. Ramesh and writer Rajashekhar are also partners in production of this film. Guru Kiran is the music director.
