Chanda in the final stage

The final shooting schedule of S. Narayan's latest film Chanda featuring 'Duniya' Vijay and Mangalore based model cum actress Shubha Poonja is now in progress in Yaana of Uttara Kannada district. The unit has already completed one long schedule in Mysore and periperal villages in the month of August. And another schedule was held in Bangalore. P.K.H. Doss is the cameraman of this film.

Narayan has planned the release of his new film Chanda in second week of November. The audio will be released on October 7 the day on which centenary day celebrations of Narayan's recent film Cheluvina Chittaara starring Ganesh.

S. Naryan the film's music director of the film. The songs of the film have been composed and even the music bits of the film have been regularly being played in channels. Narayan has done the music composition work of the film in such a secretive hush hush manner that even his close associate technicians were not aware about the identity of the music director. Even the Anand Audio Company who have obtained the distribution rights of the audio album have signed the contract without knowing anything about its music composer.

Narayan has plans to have a quiz programme the details of which will be announced in news paper and other media channels shortly. In this quiz programme, film fans will be eligible to participate and provide answers for some questions including the one which seeks answer about the identity of the music director. Already the promos of the film have been aired in television channels and music channels where musical bits of the songs can be heard.

Narayan wants that film fans should hear these musical bits and arrive at their own conclusions about the music director who has composed the songs for the film. And there are some questions in the form of a quiz programme. Cash prizes will be announced for every correct answer to the questions and a bumper prize is also fixed for the fans who answer all the questions perfectly. In this way, Narayan wants to arouse curiosity about the film and its audio. The audio release has been planned in the first week of October and even the hundred day celebrations of Narayan"s recent success Cheluvina Chiththaara' has also been planned for the same day.

Cheluvina Chiththaara has now turned out to be the biggest hit of the year grossing more than Rs. 15 crores collections all around the state. The music has also become a major hit with the level of the audio and CD sales next only to that of a huge hit like Mungaru Male.
