Vijaylakshmi Singh to direct Ee Bandhana

Actress and film producer Vijayalakshmi Singh who is better known as Munni in the Kannada film industry is all set to direct Dr. Vishnuvardhan starrer Ee Bhandhana which is set to be launched on April 6 in Bangalore. Earlier the film was to be directed by Sachin, the noted Marathi director. But Sachin has a busy schedule in Marathi serials and films and has not been able to adjust his call sheets. And more importantly he was not able to allot dates in May when the work relating to the film"s heroine Jayaprada will be on full swing.

After discussions it was decided that Vijayalakshmi Singh, daughter of Kannada film industry legend Shankar Singh and sister of S.V.Rajendra Singh Babu will be the best suitable for the job to direct the film. Ee Bhandhana has Challenging star Darshan playing another important role in the film.
