Gorgeous Deepika Padukone the top most Indian Super Model had made a great entry into the film industry through her first Kannada film Aishwarya starring Super Star Upendra and directed by Indrajith. Now, the glamour girl has won accolades for her performance in her first debut Hindi film Om Shanti Om directed by Farah Khan. Deepika was lucky enough to act with a big super star like Shahrukh Khan in the film. The box office verdict has been extremely good for Om Shanti Om and Deepika has been much appreciated in this film.

Deepika's performance has been singularly applauded by both King Khan and director Farah Khan who have predicted a bright future for Padukone.

Kannada movie director Indrajith who had introduced Deepika to the film industry says that he had also said that Deepika is bound to go places in a short time. I found grace and talent in her within a week of our work in Aishwarya. And Deepika showed lot of commitment and professionalism. I hope she sticks on to the decision of choosing her projects' says Indrajith.
