statue

unveiled
at
Kempegowda
Circle
on
April
24,
his
79th
birth
anniversary
being
organized
by
Akhila
Karnataka
Raj
Kumar
Abhimanigala
Sangam
(AKARS).
Many
dignitaries,
including
Karnataka
Chief
Minister
H
D
Kumaraswamy,
MLA
Dinesh
Gunda
Rao,
Dr.
Bhujanga
Shetty,
CEO
of
Narayana
Nethralaya
and
other
attended
the
function.
The
Chief
Mininter
said
he
would
talk
with
his
cabinet
on
declaring
the
thespian's
birthday
as
state
holiday.
He
also
added
that
works
on
Raj's
memorial
at
Kanteerava
studio
would
take
off
soon,
as
its
design
has
been
finalized.
