Kanika with Ravichandran's brother

Tamil actress Kanika who had earlier acted with Darshan in film Annavaru and Sudeep in Sai is all set to return to Kannada film industry in film Rajakumari, which will be produced by K. Manju. The director of the film directed by S. Govind, who directed films like Jhoot and Bhoopathy.

Balaji will be playing the hero's role in this film. His brother Crazy Star Ravichandran will also be playing a significant role in this film. The film is a remake of the Tamil film Ananda Poongaatre. The film's shooting is to start on June 20.

Kaniha is an engineering graduate from the Pilani Institute of Technology. She was discovered by Tamil director Susi Ganeshan while he was watching the film Chocolate'.
