It was confusion and chaos at the audio release function of the film Kusuma held at G.M. Rejoyz on Saturday evening. Too many people were invited to the function which resulted in guest occupying the seats much before the function actually started.
The media personnel who were invited were surprised to find that their seats were occupied and some of them were made to sit in some isolated places. Some of the journalists had a harrowing time finding out seats and the people who came a little late to the function were sitting outside the auditorium. They did not watch the screening of the songs of the film.
The function was relatively better organised, though the presence of the big crowd did not help media in getting the coverage it needed. While the print media photographers and television crew were not able to properly do their assignments, the journalists were not able to note the proceedings.
Director Guru Prasad, Actors Arjun, Yaamisharma and nivas were however excited about the film and said that the entire unit had worked hard to make a good product.
Actor-Producer-Director Dwarakish who released the audio of the film said that the recent events in the Kannada film industry have proved that it is the story and a fresh narration which matters in the Box office appeal more than the presence of stars. He said the example of the huge success of a film like Mungaru Male should open the eyes of the people in the trade. He hoped that Guru Prasad has added some fresh elements in Kusuma to enhance its appeal to the younger audience.
Film producer-distributor-film financier K.V.Nagesh Kumar who released the CD album of the film said that it is nice to see youngsters breaking new grounds in the Kannada film industry and added that he hoped for a big success for the film.
