Rashmi in title role as Mandakani

Rashmi, who made her debut into films with the hit movie Duniya, will be playing the title role in Mandakini, by debuntate director Ramesh Surve. Its plot revolves around a young village girl who moves to the city and meets four men with different characters.

Produced by B.N. Srinivas, the film casts Chetan, Suresh Rai, Ashwinin and Sangamesh Upase as the male leads. P.K.H Das cranks the camera and K. Kalyan scores the music. The film also includes an eight-minute song, which would be shot in the exotic locations of 20 districts and 40 taluks in Karnataka.

This is Rashmi"s third film, the second one being Akka Thangi.
