'The
Censors
have
appreciated
it,
the
lab
reports
are
astounding
and
the
issues
that
we
have
taken
in
the
film
is
contemporary
and
serious.
I
am
sure
that
my
film
will
create
history'
says
producer
K.
Manju
about
his
new
film
Maathaad
Maathaad
Mallige
which
has
recently
been
censored.
The
film's
audio
has
been
released
in
the
market
to
a
fantastic
response,
says
Manju.
Dr.
Vishnuvardhan-Suhasini
starrer
Mathad
Mathad
Mallige
directed
by
Nagathihalli
Chandrashekhar
is
to
be
released
on
August
24.
Producer
K.
Manju
has
organised
a
press
meet
on
friendship
day
which
fell
on
6th
August
at
the
G.M.Rejoice.
The
five
songs
of
the
film
were
shown
to
media
men
and
also
some
guests
who
were
specially
invited
to
the
function.
The
artists
and
singers
who
have
lent
their
voice
for
the
film
were
called
and
felicitated.
Noted
environmentalist
Devendra
Sharma
who
has
provided
many
statistical
details
for
the
film
was
also
present.
Nagathihalli
Chandrashekhar
had
presented
a
ten
minute
introductory
capsule
CD
of
the
film
in
the
Cannes
International
Film
Festival
which
had
become
a
highly
discussed
point
in
the
industry.
This
capsule
was
played
for
the
media
persons
and
guest
during
the
press
meet.
Devendra
Sharma
who
was
impressed
with
the
presentation
of
the
CD
said
that
Nagathihalli
Chandrashekhar
has
raised
the
issues
for
which
people
like
him
and
other
well
known
environmentalists
are
fighting
for.
'In
the
name
of
development
and
globalisation,
lacs
of
people
are
being
displaced
from
their
own
lands
worldwide
and
have
not
been
given
due
compensation.
I
think
a
film
like
Maathaad
Maathaad
Mallige
will
raise
the
awareness
regarding
the
dangers
of
excessive
development
and
priority
to
globalisation
and
economic
reforms.
We
are
ignoring
the
interests
of
common
people
and
poor
peasants'
said
Devendra
Sharma.
Sharma
paid
special
compliments
to
Dr.
Vishnuvardhan
who
had
the
courage
to
accept
a
different
role
of
a
rebel
fighting
for
the
cause
of
farmers.
