Mungaru Male director Yogaraj Bhat who has remained inaccessible to media and film industry representatives for nearly two months (he did attend an award function though) is all set to launch his new film in the month of July. The announcement of this new film was to have been made this week, but sources said that Bhat along with his producer would announce the launch of the film only after the main star cast of the film is complete.
According to reliable sources star Puneeth Rajkumar is playing the male lead role in his new film Galipata But sources close to Bhat have been telling that the film has been titled Galipata' and it will feature three young heroes and three heroines. Actor Diganth has already been finalised to play one important role in the film.
Diganth had played an important character in Mungaru Male and he is teamed up with Ramya in director T.N.Seetharam's Meera Maadhava Raaghava. Now, he will be getting another big break with Galipata'. Singer Rajesh Krishna who has already acted as a hero in a Telugu film and was featured in Kannada film Santhosha' directed by M.R. Ramesh will also be playing the hero's role in this film.
According to sources, the three heroines of the film have already been finalised. Model cum actress Daisy Bopanna who has become extremely choosy about her films these days will play an important character in the film. Chaya Singh and Neeta of Jog Falls' fame will be playing the two other important characters in the film.
Multilingual actress Chaya Singh has also been specific about the roles she chooses to play and is currently looking forward to the release of Dinesh Babu directed Akasha Gange' which is believed to have a tailor made role for her.
Bhat has opted for Harikrishna for the music of the film. Mano Murthy, the music director of Mungaru Male has already bagged a number of offers now and is presently the busiest music director in the Kannada film industry.
