Rakhi to sizzle in Kannada film Geleya

The Rockline Venkatesh Studios was set on a sizzling spree for three days. The sexy item number girl Rakhi Sawant was dancing along with Prajwal and friends for the film Geleya produced by Mookambika films banner. Choreographer Harsha who has turned director will choreograph the song.

After Sizzler Shakeela and Mesmerizing Mumaith Khan it is the Bewitching Rakhi Sawant has made an entry to the Kannada film industry now. Now, Rakhi Sawant is the latest addition to the list of the item number actresses brigade from Mumbai.

Prajwal and Tarun are in the lead roles in Geleya in which Mumbai model cum actress Kirat Bhattal is the heroine.

Though it is not the first time that the sexy actress is being featured in a South Indian film (Rakhi Sawant had earlier done an item number in Kamal Hassan's bi-lingual Mumbai Express"), it is the first time that she had agreed to do a song number for a Kannada film. "The song will certainly create ripples in the industry' says a source close to film's director Harsha who is also choreographing this particular song.

Rakhi feels proud that she is called for important item numbers in films. The girl might have lost out the race in the Bollywood where the competition has been higher, but she may well be in great demand in South if she clicks in a big way in the Geleya number and also in a Telugu film where she is being asked to another item song.

"I dont feel bad if I am asked to work for only an item song. If producers want to select me for only one song that only means to prove I am very competent in doing these numbers. I have a great figure and I am also a fabulous dancer. My dances look beautiful on screen. What more in required for the audience to enjoy my item number' asks Rakhi Sawant.
