Sandhya debuts with Puneeth

Actress Sandya, who made a mark in Tamil with her very first film Kaadhal, is to act in Kannada for the very first time. What's more, she's paired with Kannada filmdom's heartthrob, Puneeth Rajkumar.

The film is directed by Shoban, who has earlier directed the Telugu superhit Varsham with Trisha.

Earlier, Sandhya had acted in the Telugu film Annavaram with Pawan Kalyan without knowing the language. She had learnt Telugu during the making of the film. The actress hopes to do the same for her Kannada venture too.
