Santha shooting close to finished

Shivaraj Kumar is brimming with happiness now. The reason is that he is presently working with all young directors. 'Working with a young team of actors and technicians is certainly a great feeling. I am now getting all fresh ideas in the form of stories and the young directors and script writers are always thinking of doing something innovative' he told a section of media persons during the shooting of his film "Santha' which is now progressing in the Rockline Studios. Shivaraj Kumar and the film's heroine Arati Chabbria were participating in the song sequences of the film "Santha' in this final lap of the shooting of the film. Murali Mohan is the director of the film for which experienced film writer Ajay Kumar is writing the story and dialogues.

Shivaraj Kumar is working with another young director Raghava Loki for the film "Sathya In Love'.The entire shooting portions except for the songs have been finished for "Santha' which is being produced by Srikanth and Kanakapura Srinivas, who is also president of the Shivraj Kumar fans association. Murali Mohan had earlier directed Upendra starrer "Nagarahaavu'. The highlight of the film is the different type of hairstyle of Shivanna. Shivraj Kumar said that during the shooting of the film he was getting nostalgic of the film "OM". "During the making of OM", I found Murali to be a very important link in providing inputs for story and direction department. Here in this film I find him to be the director. He has certainly improved and I am sure he would go places after the release of "Santha'' said Shivaraj Kumar.

Director Murali Mohan said that the shooting and dubbing work of the film has been finished and only two songs have to be canned. "Shooting work of the entire film will be over by March 20. We are planning to take up the final editing and the re-recording work immediately. The film has shaped up well and Shivaraj Kumar's performance and characterisation is the highlight. Veteran Police Chief and Member of Parliament H.T.Sangliana has played an important film. Sangliana provided lot of tips for a realistic narration of the film. It is a peaceful violent film' said Murali Mohan.

Expressing happiness over returning to Kannada films after a long gap, heroine Arati Chabbria said that her role has both the glamour quotient and the performance opportunity. "I remember doing a character in "Awara Paagal Diwana' where I even threaten a rowdy played by Akshay Kumar. This role in different, but I am an assertive and glamorous girl in this film. I want to act in more number of Kannada films in good roles' Arati said.
