Crazy
Star
Ravichandran
and
Music
Director
Hamsalekha
shook
hands
and
hugged
each
other.
Best
Actor
Shivaraj
Kumar
congratulated
young
director
Rathnaja.
T.N.
Seetharam
who
headed
the
Advisory
committee
of
the
state
awards
exchanged
pleasantries
with
Ravichandran
and
Shivaraj
Kumar
along
with
many
other
award
winners
who
got
his
nod
in
the
recently
announced
state
film
awards.
Husband
and
wife
team
Cameraman
H.M.
Ramachandra
and
Actress
Jayamala,
both
awardees
were
separated
in
two
different
seating
enclosures
talking
with
their
respective
friends,
but
were
together
when
they
posed
for
photographers.
They
posed
well
for
the
family
album
photograph.
These
were
some
of
the
familiar
scenes
witnessed
during
the
felicitation
programme
organised
by
the
Karnataka
film
journalists
association
to
the
state
awardees
for
the
year
2005-06.
There
was
enthusiasm
and
happiness
seen
around
and
the
awardees
that
the
felicitation
by
the
film
journalists
will
be
etched
in
their
memory
for
a
long
time.
Crazy
Star
Ravichandran
and
Shivaraj
Kumar
were
the
cynosure
of
all
eyes,
naturally.
Both
of
them
were
in
right
mood
at
the
colourful
function.
Ravichandran
who
has
won
the
prestigious
Puttanna
Kanagal
award
said
that
it
was
the
reaction
of
many
people
in
the
film
industry
about
his
award
that
had
enthused
him.
"When
I
got
the
news
that
I
have
been
selected
for
the
Puttanna
Kanagal
award,
I
was
little
surprised
and
had
thought
whether
my
life
as
a
director
was
over
since
it
was
normally
been
given
to
retirees
and
veterans.
But
many
of
my
well
wishers
in
the
industry
and
my
press
friends
felt
happy
about
the
award.
Their
satisfaction
and
happiness
made
me
to
accept
this
award
gracefully'
said
Ravichandran.
Shivaraj
Kumar
remembered
his
late
father
Dr.
Raj
Kumar
and
said
that
his
father
had
blessed
him
during
the
launch
of
the
film
"Jogi'
for
which
he
has
won
the
fourth
Best
Actor
film
award.
"The
film
was
a
huge
success
because
of
the
blessings
of
my
father
and
also
the
fantastic
script
written
by
Prem.
I
am
glad
Prem
has
also
received
this
award'
said
Shivaraj
Kumar.
P.
Sheshadri
who
was
a
journalist
before
he
ventured
into
the
film
industry
said
that
he
is
now
very
happy
being
felicitated
by
his
friends
who
were
his
colleagues
earlier.
"The
one
big
mistake
that
I
did
in
my
life
was
to
accept
the
state
government's
offer
to
head
the
jury
committee
for
selection
of
film
awards.
I
acted
in
good
faith
and
tried
to
be
as
much
transparent
as
possible.
I
had
a
wonderful
team
of
jury
members
who
wanted
to
do
their
best.
We
toiled
for
more
than
ten
days
to
select
35
awardees
out
of
850
aspirants.
Naturally
we
could
not
please
all,
but
ensured
a
fair
selection
which
was
appreciated
largely.
But
the
way
it
has
attracted
some
criticism
has
really
hurt
me.
I
thought
we
have
done
the
best
in
a
tough
and
thankless
job.
Now,
I
have
decided
not
accept
any
such
assignment
in
future'
said
T.N.
Seetharam,
who
