"The film has collected around Rs.2.5 crores in its first week and rounded up another Rs.1.5 crores in the second week. This is perhaps the biggest theatrical earnings in the first two weeks," said Mohan.
S.V. Rajendra Singh Babu, who had produced the film with Mohan, said that the success of the film has generated lot of excitement in the entire industry. "A big success is always like an energiser. It brings in lot of enthusiasm to the people connected to the film. And it also encourages the other people in the industry," said Babu.
Navashakthi Nagaraj who had distributed the film throughout the state said that the film's huge openings have ensured that the film is turning out to be the biggest hit in Upendra's career and the top hit of the year.
Ramnath Rigvedhi, the director of the film, was also quite happy that the film has turned out to be a big hit. "It was the result of the team work. Uppi sir had completely involved in the project from the beginning. And everything fell into place now and the audience are viewing the film in large numbers. The entire team is happy about the success of the film," says Ramanath.
