Ace
director
S.Narayan's
films
have
always
remained
the
most
awaited
projects
for
Kannada
film
fans.
Narayan's
track
record
of
making
some
remarkable
films
in
Kannada
has
given
him
an
extra
edge.
He
puts
in
lot
of
efforts
to
make
good
films
with
stars
or
fresh
faces.
His
last
two
films
Cheluvina
Chiththaara
and
Chanda
have
become
block
busters
and
now
the
focus
is
centred
around
his
next
film
Chaithrada
Chandrama.
Narayan
has
completed
this
film
which
is
now
slated
for
release
on
September
4.
He
is
launching
his
son
Pankaaj
through
this
film.
Amoolya
who
made
a
sensational
debut
in
the
film
Cheluvina
Chiththaara
will
be
the
heroine
of
this
film.
S.Narayan
organised
a
press
meet
recently
to
introduce
his
son
Pankaaj
to
the
media.
All
the
artistes
and
technicians
of
the
film
were
present.
Narayan
has
taken
the
responsibility
of
writing
the
film,
doing
its
musical
work
and
also
directing
it.
The
film's
artistes
Pankaaj,
Amoolya,
Pallakki
Radhakrishna,
Veena
Sundar,
Vijay
Jetty
were
present
along
with
cameraman
Renu
and
dance
director
Malur
Srinivas.
All
the
artistes
and
technicians
shared
their
experience
of
acting
in
this
film.
Pankaaj
disclosed
that
he
was
not
aware
that
he
would
be
donning
the
hero's
film
in
this
film
even
a
day
before
the
shooting
had
started.
"I
was
very
curious
to
know
who
was
the
hero
of
this
film.
My
father
did
not
answer
many
of
my
questions
in
this
regard.
But
when
my
father
revealed
to
me
that
I
would
be
the
lead
actor
in
the
film
just
when
the
film
unit
was
leaving
to
Srinagar
to
shoot
the
songs.
And
I
was
really
flabbergasted
at
that
moment.
But
then
while
participating
in
the
shooting,
I
was
conscious
that
a
big
responsibility
has
been
placed
on
me.
I
just
followed
the
instructions
of
the
director,
dance
director
of
the
film.
I
was
guided
by
instructions
of
senior
technicians
in
the
film
and
I
was
also
encouraged
by
my
co-artistes," said
Pankaaj.
Amoolya
said
that
it
was
because
of
Narayan
sir
that
she
had
attained
such
a
huge
popularity
in
the
film
industry.
"When
Narayan
sir
called
me
I
was
extremely
happy.
I
have
done
what
the
director
had
told
me.
My
first
film
was
a
silver
jubilee
hit
and
I
will
just
hope
that
this
film
will
also
turn
out
to
be
a
block
buster," said
Amoolya.
Speaking
after
all
the
artistes
and
technicians
spoke,
director
S.
Narayan
said
that
the
film
was
the
toughest
and
most
challenging
film
of
his
career.
He
had
shot
the
film
in
Srinagar
as
th
story
demanded
such
a
place.
And
a
major
portion
of
the
shooting
was
done
in
Bangalore.
"The
artistes
and
technicians
of
the
film
have
done
a
wonderful
job.
Pankaaj's
performance
has
exceeded
my
expectations
and
I
am
sure
that
this
film
would
be
remembered
for
him.
And
Amoolya
has
once
again
proved
that
she
is
a
good
actress.
I
am
thankful
for
Veena
Sundar
for
accepting
this
film
despite
some
personal
problems.
She
has
delivered
a
top
line
performance
in
the
film.
The
song
album
has
been
doing
very
well
in
the
market," said
Narayan.
