"Despite
some
orchestrated
campaign
against
the
film
by
some
vested
interests,
I
am
happy
about
the
response
to
my
film
Chaithradha
Chandrama
which
is
showing
an
increasing
trend
in
the
collection
figures," says
producer-director
S.Narayan.
The
collections
for
the
film
Chaithradha
Chandrama
which
was
released
on
September
4
with
a
not
so
encouraging
response
because
of
rains
and
troubled
situations
in
many
cities
connected
to
Ganesha
festival
has
been
showing
an
upward
trend
in
many
centres
of
the
state
which
has
encouraged
S.Narayan
and
the
film
fraternity.
S.Narayan
had
launched
his
son
Pankaaj
in
the
film.
Teen
aged
sensation
Amoolya
who
rose
to
big
fame
in
her
first
film
Cheluvina
Chiththaara
was
the
heroine
of
this
film.
"We
had
lot
of
rains
in
the
evenings
in
cities
and
many
shows
were
cancelled
in
cities
and
towns
because
of
troubled
situations.
But
still
the
collections
are
showing
improvement.
I
think
with
this
present
trend
I
will
be
able
to
recover
my
investment.
And
improvement
in
collections
are
reflected
by
the
large
presence
of
young
audience
and
family
audience," says
Narayan.
