Darshan gives priority to Arjun

Distributor Jayanna is turning into film producer with Arjun in which Darshan is playing the lead role. Meera Chopra who acted in many Tamil and Telugu films including Vaana and Vaadhyar is playing the female lead role. The film is being directed by Shahuraj Shinde who had directed Darshan earlier in Anaji Nagaraj's Snehana Preethina.

Though the shooting of Arjun had started much earlier, Darshan concentrated on his home production Navargraha directed by his younger brother Dinakar. But now he is concentrating more on Arjun and in all likelihood finish the work of the film shortly. Darshan's next film Indra directed by H. Vasu has been planned for a May 16 release, and it will be Arjun which will follow Indra.

Meanwhile, it is understood that Darshan is all set to start working for a new project to be produced by Ramesh Yadav. This film will be directed by a new young director Raghuraj who has worked as a writer and associate director to many Telugu films.
