Upcoming actor Devadutt meets tragic end

An upcoming Kannada film actor-cum-producer Devadatta was killed on the spot when a city corporation lorry ran over his motorcycle in Mysore. According to the police, the mishap occurred when the actor was heading towards a hospital on 10th November 2008 afternoon, when the lorry ran over him.

The 35-year-old Devdadutt was acting in a Kannada movie Team, which was under production. He was one of the five leading characters in the film. Noted actor Ambarish was in a guest appearance.

Police have registered a case and investigation is going on.
