Gulama in progress

Brisk shooting is taking place in Bangalore for Ramu Enterprises presentation Gulama starring Prajwal Devaraj and new comer Biyaanka and directed by writer Ranganath. Recently the media was invited for covering a dance sequence shoot for the film which was held in Mysore Lamps factory. Only Prajwal Devaraj and Biyaanka were present in the song sequence that was choreographed by well known dance director Chinni Prakash.

Director Ranganath said that the major portion of the film has already been shot and only the patch work has to be done. He said the speciality of his debut film Gulama is the characterization, taking and the dialogues. He said that he has introduced many new artistes who were drawn from various theatre groups in the state.

Prajwal Devaraj said that this is an important film for him and that he was quite happy with the way Ranganath had handled script before he started shooting for the film. He said producer Ramu has also ensured that the making of the film is in high standards.

Biyaanka, a model from Mumbai is a fashion designer graduate from Sydney University. "I have designed my own cloths for this film. I wanted to be a fashion designer. But destiny has brought me into modelling and films. Now, I am working in two Kannada films," says this glamorous girl from Mumbai, who wants to concentrate on her career in South Indian films.
