The
title
of
Jaggesh's
latest
film
has
been
finalised
as
Beedi
Basava
and
not
Beedi
Basavanna
as
reported
earlier.
Director
Kodlu
Ramakrishna
announced
the
title
during
the
launch
of
the
film
recently.
A
media
conference
was
organised
after
the
muhurath
function.
Actor
Jaggesh,
actress
Nikitha,
director
Kodlu
Ramakrishna
and
the
three
producers
attended
the
press
meet.
Jaggesh
said
that
Kodlu
Ramakrishna
has
been
approaching
him
for
many
years
to
act
in
his
film.
He
has
finally
found
the
time
to
do
this
comedy
flick.
"He
narrated
two
stories
to
me
out
of
which
I
chose
the
story
of
Beedi
Basava.
And
then
Kodlu
took
nearly
four
months
to
write
the
script
along
with
actor
Mohan.
I
was
also
involved
in
the
making
of
the
script.
Some
of
my
suggestions
have
also
been
incorporated
in
the
script",
said
Jaggesh.
He
added
that
it
is
a
performance-oriented
film
with
right
dose
of
comedy,
action
and
sentiments.
Kodlu
Ramakrishna
said
that
he
took
nearly
four
months
to
write
the
script
of
Beedi
Basava,
though
he
usually
takes
only
one
or
two
months
for
a
script.
He
thanked
Mohan
for
helping
him
write
the
script
and
thanked
Jaggesh
in
a
special
way
for
his
contributions
to
the
making
of
the
script.
Heroine
Nikitha
said
that
she
is
playing
a
simple
village
girl's
role
in
the
film
who
is
very
supportive
to
the
hero.
Nikitha
had
already
worked
in
Maharaja
with
Sudeep.
She
had
also
worked
in
films
like
Tata
Birla
and
Raja
Kumari
which
are
yet
to
be
released.
