Babaa all set for release

Baaba, Smt. Shoba Rajanna's ambitious project casting newcomers Karthik and Pragna in the lead roles, is releasing this Friday in Karnataka. The film was given an 'A' certificate by the Regional Censor Board because the story revolves around teenagers doing things surpassing their age.

This is the first film for director Trishul. Karthik plays the role of a teenager who drops out from school and takes up rowdy activities. In the end, he realizes what he should have and shouldn't have done. Pragna plays the role of a calm and traditional girl who speaks less. The movie tries to deliver a moral message to the youth.

Young Karthik, while speaking to the media last Friday, said that he has worked hard for the film, especially in the stunt sequences. The actor admitted that it is easier for him to act in action scenes than in dance sequences.

Sundernath Suvarna handles the camera and Arjun is the music director. Editing is by Lakshman Reddy and Ismail does the art direction. Bharat Bagavathar, Radha, Chidanand, Satyajith, Kurigalu Sunil, Satyajith, Pawan, Kumar, Mahesh and others are in the cast.
