Meghave.. audio released mid-air

Meghave Meghave, produced by Raghukumar and directed by Dr. V. Nagendraprasad, created history by releasing the audio album of the film in mid-air, 35,000 above sea level. The event also saw the inauguration of the film"s website by Power Star Puneet Rajkumar.

Inside the chartered Air Deccan flight were former transport minister Cheluvarayanaswamy along with bureaucrat C. Somasekhar, who released the CD and cassettes of Meghave Meghave fifteen minutes after take off. The one-hour flight flew within the Bangalore air space for a total of 200 miles.

Gracy Singh, who acted in films like Lagaan and Munnabhai, forays into Kannada cinema through this film. The hero of the film Ram and Sudeep did not attend the music launching function. The Limca Book of Records had a novel entrant this year with this mid-air audio release.

The other notable invitees were Kannada film producers Sa. Ra. Govind, Ramesh Yadav, K.C.N. Kumar, K.S.L. Swamee and wife B.V. Radha and Suresh Babu (former MLA). director Nagendra Prasad had been dreaming of chartered mid-air audio release for quite sometime.
