Moggina Manasu gets 'A' certificate

"The Censor Board has belittled me. This movie does not deserve the 'A' certificate," said the agitated producer. He even questioned the women members of the Censor Board about the certification.
"I am a responsible person, how could you give this A certification? What would people think of me?" Krishnappa fumed. The Censor Board chief replied that as the subject of the film involved teenage girls, they were forced to award the 'A' certification.
E. Krishnappa's attitude disturbed the Censor chief as producer Krishnappa did not agree to accept the 'A' certificate. But Censor chief Chandrasekhar did not budge. Complaint letters from both have reached the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. Even the intervention of Sandesh Nagaraj, President of Kannada Film Producers Association, has not been productive.
Meanwhile. the Mumbai office has been approached by the Regional Censor Board for finalizing the certificate.
Moggina Manasu release scheduled on April 28, has thus been delayed.
