Monica moves fresh bail application

Kannada actress Maria Monica Susairaj, an accused in the Neeraj Grover murder case, has moved a fresh bail application in the Mumbai High Court on Monday. The bail application would be heard on October 18.

The Mumbai police had charged Monica under Section 201 for destruction of evidence. They later booked her for murder and conspiracy. Monica has moved a fresh bail application in the Mumbai High Court, as the Mumbai sessions court had earlier turned down her bail application.

Neeraj Grover, a creative director with the TV production house Synergy Adlabs, was murdered on May 7. Monica then lodged a police complaint on may 12, stating that Neeraj had gone missing. The police later arrested Monica and her fiancee Lt. M L Jerome Mathew on charge of murdering Neeraj Grover.
