Ranganath meets Hosamane Sadananda at his home. He complaints against Lalitanandamayi and reveals the forthcoming consequences, if she is allowed to sit on the Peetha of the Ashram. Then Sadananda denies Peetha for both of them insisting that they have created so much of dirty situation in the Ashram. He says that he would bring somebody else to the Peetha.

Ranganath argues him that all the problems have been created by Lalitanandamayi. Then he asks him to make sure that any one of the two should be be there in the Ashram. Sadananda says, "You inform Lalitha to meet me. I will try to convince her and set the matter straight." Ranganath leaves for the Ashram hoping that he has won the game.
