Nagabharana integrating India

Award-winning director T.S. Nagabharana is elated at his rare feat. When the 54th National Film awards were announced on Tuesday, the director was bestowed with the National Integration award for the third time in his career. His film Kallarali Hoovagi was announced the winner and T.S. Nagabharana went down to history for winning the Nargis Datt National Integration award thrice.

Nagabharana won his first National Integration Award for Grahana in 1979 and his second award came in 1990 for Shantha Shishunala Sharief. In total, he has earned eight National Awards in different categories in a career spanning three decades.
