Cameraman
and
film
producer
Anaji
Nagaraj
who
has
made
two
commercial
films
Shashtri
and
Snehaanaa
Preethinaa
is
now
into
making
an
artistic
venture.
His
film
Nandadeepa
which
is
based
on
a
song
rendered
by
Gururaj
Hoskote,
was
his
favourite
song
for
many
years.
And
he
preferred
to
chose
a
young
and
hard
working
Shivu
Hiremath,
who
has
been
struggling,
to
direct
the
film.
"Yes,
I
have
made
this
film
with
my
hard
earned
money.
I
was
struggling
to
make
both
ends
meet
earlier,
but
now
I
lead
a
comfortable
life,
thanks
to
my
two
productions.
I
am
also
a
distributor
now.
But
I
was
always
thinking
to
make
a
film
which
gets
me
a
big
recognition
in
the
form
of
awards.
But
there
was
no
way
that
I
could
think
of
a
subject
on
my
own
and
the
Gururaja
Hoskote
song
came
to
my
mind.
Why
should
not
I
create
a
story
out
of
this
song
which
is
so
touching,
I
thought.
That
is
how
Nandadeepa
was
born.
I
think
the
film
will
bring
tears
in
the
eyes
of
the
audience.
I
am
sure
the
film
will
touch
the
hearts
of
the
audience.
And
I
will
also
realise
the
dream
of
winning
an
award
through
this
film," said
Anaji
Nagaraj.
Nagaraj
said
that
the
film
was
completed
after
twenty
five
days
shoot
in
a
village
near
Hubli.
He
is
planning
to
release
the
film
with
a
few
prints
and
has
decided
to
penetrate
deeper
into
B
and
C
centres
since
he
has
a
good
distribution
net
work
of
his
own.
"The
film's
strength
is
that
it
would
be
able
to
reach
all
the
sections
of
the
people,"
said
Anaji
Nagaraj.
