Taj Mahal scores half century

Pooja Gandhi's Taj Mahal, directed by debutant R. Chandru, is running in packed houses and has completed 50 days. The film boasts of a good story, screenplay and nice music. The successful run of the film does not come as a surprise, since the film was highly appreciated in all sections right from its release.

Pooja Gandhi has another feather in her cap with this successful film where she is paired with Ajay Rao. She already has her hands full in Kannada and is also foraying into Tamil through Tiruvannamalai.

Taj Mahal's success comes when there are many big films released with it. Films like Arjun by Darshan, Bombaat by Ganesh and Anthu Inthu Preethi Banthu by Ramya were all released with fanfare and glamour. But Taj Mahal retained its place in the theatres and with good audience turnout, it is indicating that it is set for a bigger success.
