Preetham takes off

Girish Kampalapur who had achieved distinction by directing a dumb and deaf hero Dhruv in the film Snehanjali has just started shooting for the second film Preetham, which was launched at Dharmagiri Manjunatha Swamy Temple recently.

Girish's second film Preetham will be made under the banner of Screen Science and will have three youngsters featuring in main roles. New faces Naveen, Samskruthi and Soorya are the three youngsters making their debut through this film. Naveen's name has been rechristened as Preetham in this film.

Girish says Preetham will be a love story narrated in a different manner. The film will have many surprising elements in, said the director. However he said that hero Preetham will be playing the role of a Pizza delivery boy who falls for a danseuse. Rajesh Ramanath has composed music for this film, said Girish. He also added that the film will have six songs and three action sequences. L.Mohan is the cinematographer of this film.
