Prema returns for good

Lovely Prema was last seen in Sandalwood in Ekadanta, acting opposite the great artistes Vishuvardhan and Ramesh Aravind. Then she bid goodbye to films to become a homemaker. Now, two years after her wedding, Shishira brings this talented actress back to screen.

Yashas and Meghana are the lead pair in Shishira and Prema has an important supporting role. This film marks Manju Swaraj's debut as director. Ajanish Lokash is the music director and Suresh Babu handles the camera.

Prema made her entry to Sandalwood through Savyasachi (1995) opposite Shivrajkumar. Her innocent looks and ability to emote well were recognized soon. She received the State Best Actress Award for her next film Om (1996) which was widely acclaimed. She has acted in five languages and won numerous honours before she chose to marry and quit acting.
