Priya Bharathi directing E Preethi

Priya Bharathi, an NRI residing in Washington DC is directing her first Kannada film E Preethi starring Dignath, Tejaswini, Nina Mahesh, and Bharath in the lead roles.

She has a post graduation in journalism and has done her cinematography and editing courses in the United States of America. She has also made a short film for television, Guttu(secret) with today"s top actor Ganesh, who at that time had just completed his course in acting.

Priya is very talented and versatile. She has also written the script and done editing for her film. Pradip Bekal, Narayana Hosmane a cancer research professor in Illinois, Mahi Mahesh, and SV Narayanaswamy are the joint producers. Nageshwara Rao and Udaya Raja are the cinematographers of E Preethi. 60 percent of the film will be shot in the US.

Suchitra Latha is making her debut as a music director. She is the third female music director in Kannada.
