Ramesh directing Vekta In Sankta

Actor-director Ramesh Aravind is to venture into his fourth directorial project Venkta In Sankta. Ramesh will also be acting in the film as a lowly police constable. Produced by Sinema house, a Bangalore based production company, the film has start rolling.

Ramesh Aravind's last film as a director was Accident, a critically-acclaimed movie which was an average grosser at the box office. Prior to this, he directed the super hits Rama Shama Bhama and Satyavan Savitri. Both films were appreciated by masses and critics alike.

Sharmila Mandre, who is the current sensation is Sandalwood, will be the heroine in Venkta in Sankta.P.K.H. Das is the cameraman and Rickey Kei, who has scored some beautiful tunes for Accident, has been roped in for Venkta In Sankta's music direction.

Venkta In Sankta, a film with comedy and emotional elements, is about a cop who goes through various ups and downs in his career. The cop, an ordinary constable, dreams of becoming the Commissioner one day. The film follows the hilarious events that happen in pursuing his dream.
