Ravi plays title role in Varasdhara

Ravi Belagere is playing the title role in the upcoming film, Varasdhara, directed by Guru Deshpande, produced by B.P. Srinivas and Arun Rajappa. The movie, starring Sandeep and Ashwini in the lead, is based on terrorism. Mohan Mugudeshwaran cranks the camera.

Others in the cast include Dattana, Sadashiva Brahmavar, Navnith Srinivas, Dilip, Venkatappa, Master Kiran, and B.P. Srinivas. Rajesh Ramanath scores the music for the songs penned by Jayanth Kaikini and Kaviraj.

The movie stars Sanjana Gandhi in a cameo role. The audio and CD cassettes of the film were released recently by Lehari Recording Company.
