Sandhya forays into Kannada

Actress Sandhya of Kadhal fame is ready to make her presence felt in Kannada films. She is cast opposite Shivaraj Kumar in Nandha, a cinematic adaptation of a true story.

Sandhya was first cast opposite power star Puneet Rajkumar (Shivaraj Kumar's brother) but the project was abandoned after the sad demise of director Shoban.

Nandha will start rolling on Wednesday at Kanteevara Studios. Producer Mahin has also written the story, screenplay and direction are by Anantharaju, music is by V. Manohar, Ramesh Babu is the cameraman, S. Manohar does the editing, Palaniraj handles the stunts, Ismail looks after art direction and Malur Srinivas is the choreographer.
