Kannada musician Anup Sileen has said that he will never bow down to the Bollywood singers like Sonu Nigam, Hariharan, Kunal Ganjawala. All the songs of movie Eddelu Manjunatha are sung by Kannada singers. The music is composed by Anup Sileen.

"Kannada film industry has got rich variety of singers. Why should I bring Bollywood singers to our industry. In future, if any director or producer asks me to bring any of the Bollywood singers, I would quit the movie," he said firmly.

Citing the example of his previous movie Gooli He said, "Hariharan declined to sing in a high pitch for a song in the movie. These singers don't have respect for Kannada. They only ask high salary without looking into the market,"

"Performance of a singer is totally dependent on the composer. If the music director is confident, he can give hit songs. I will return my salary, if my songs sung by Kannada singers fail to attract and entertain audiences," he added

However, it can be remembered here that Anup music directed Gooli and Nanda Loves Nandita songs are popular songs.
