Mano Murthy takes action against piracy

Four most popular movie tunes from super hit Kannada Ganesh starrer movie Mungaru Male have beencopied in telugu movie Vaana. Kannada film industry is up against this robbery in Telugu film industry. The film Vaana is the remake of Mungaru Malle, which is directed by producer-turned-director Ms Raju. Vinay and Meera chopra are in the lead role. Kamalkar scores music for the film.

The Kannada film Mungaru Malle was released on 29 December 2006 last year. The film was directed by Yograj Bhatt and Mano Murthy has scored music. When Mano Murthy came to know that his music has been copied, he contacted the Vaana producers representatives and they assured him that he would be given credit as the music composer of the songs.

But They have not mentioned his name nor given him any credit as the composer of these songs. This is even worse than piracy. This is theft in broad daylight of creative material. Mano Murthy is going to take action against those who have pirated his music.
