Sridhar eyes a film on Tipu Sultan

'Agni' Sridhar fresh from the success of Aa Dinagalu, has announced a couple of films which he will be producing under his banner Megha Movies in the coming years. Among those films, Slum Bala starring Vijay and directed by journo Sumana Kittur will be launched shortly. Another film on former underworld don M P Jayaraj which will be called Aa Dinagalu Part 2 will be launched at this year end.

Sridhar also has plans to produce a film on the life of Tippu Sultan. He has already contacted Jnanapeeth Awardee Girish Karnad to direct this film for him as Karnad is an authority about Tippu Sultan. It seems that Sridhar has given full independence about the starcast and the making of the film. Only Karnad has to give his nod for this.
