Sunil Rao teams up with Pooja Gandhi

Did you know Sunil Rao missed a chance to act with the hot and happening Pooja Gandhi in Taj Mahal? But he when he got a second chance in Minugu, he grabbed it.

Sunil was the first choice of director S. Chandru to play the lead role in Taj Mahal but when Sunil backed away from the project for unknown reasons, the role went to Ajay Rao, who was desperately seeking a footing in Sandalwood. Taj Mahal went on to become one of the biggest surprises of the year and ran for 100 days.

Sunil has buried the past and is making up for lost time with Minugu. Pooja Gandhi plays the role of a successful actress and Sunil Rao plays the role of a cyclist. Popular small screen actor Ajith Hande has an important role. The shooting is progressing fast in Bangalore. Antony Jayayanth, the debut director, says Minugu is completely different from other films.
