Trisha's Kannada movie may go to set in January

South Indian actress Trisha has recently visited Chennai Cancer Hospital, where she presented some toffees and toys to innocent children. It is said that she has confirmed to act opposite Powerstar Puneet Rajkumar in Rasgulla director Goverdhan's remake of Mahesh Babu starrer Telugu movie Athadu.

Earlier it was reported that the actress would debut in Kannada film through the Yogaraj Bhat directed movie Lagori, which has been dropped now. But Puneet has got another chance to act with Trisha in the remake of Athadu now.

"Puneet has already given call sheet of 40 days. Trisha's Telugu movie King has been released and is doing very well at the Box Office. I am going to narrate the story of our movie next week. I am sure that she will definitely like the movie," said producer GK Venkatesh with confidence.

The producer has already bought the remake rights of Athadu for 18 Lakhs from Telugu director Trivikram Shrinivas. According to Gandhinagar sources, Puneet and Trisha are busy right now. So the movie may go to sets from the last week of January. The movie in Kannada is yet to be titled.
