It's raining praises for Upendra

The major artistes of the hugely successful film Budhdhivantha hailed the contribution of superstar Upendra in turning the film into a top entertaining fare. Actors Pooja Gandhi, Suman Ranganath and Sridhar stopped short of calling Budhdhivantha a Upendra-scripted film, but said Uppi's efforts in acting and writing were the major factors that worked in favour of the film.

Pooja Gandhi said that she had become a big fan of Uppi after acting in the film. "The film's success was much anticipated. I had an inkling that the film would turn out to be a big hit. Uppi sir was brilliant in all the roles he had played," said Pooja Gandhi.

Actor Suman Ranganath thanked Uppi for giving her the "Chitranna" song which had become such a huge hit. "When I do a call in my mobile, I find that "Chitranna" song has been downloaded by them. The song has become such a huge hit that people sing the song whenever they see me. I have to thank Uppi sir for selecting me for this role. I have to say all the leading ladies of the film have performed very well in the film," said Suman Ranganath.

Actor Sridhar, who made a fairly long speech, said that success of any film brings lot of cheer to people working in the film. He thanked director Ramanath and Upendra for reposing confidence in him and selecting for the role which was a different type of character.

Uppi spoke less, but the smile on his face throughout the press conference spoke volumes!
