Vijay finds his heroine

Vijay"s new film, Putta, produced by Pyramid Saimira Productions Ltd., will have newcomer Prathana playing the female lead. Though Prathana has acted in Tollywood as a child artiste, in Putta, she plays a heroine for the first time.

The movie, directed by N. Omprakash Rao, went to floors on February 1 and has Vijay playing the role of an auto driver. Putta is Vijay"s second film with Pyramid Saimira Productions Ltd., the first being Avva directed by Kavitha Lankesh.
