24 Hours in Melbourne to shoot in 30 days

24 Hours in Melbourne, produced by the The Australia Kannada Sangha members, will be shot entirely in Melbourne, Australia. Shooting will begin on March 10 and there will be a single schedule lasting 30 days.

The story, as the name suggests, revolves around incidents that happen in Melbourne within a span of 24 hours. Caught in the middle of the these incidents are five friends led by Girish and Hemanth.

Tina Ponnapa, the Coorg girl who won the national award for her first film Meera (Tamil) is the heroine of 24 Hours in Melbourne. Sanjay, who has directed Meghana, Sinchana, Nimma Shanker Nag and Aa Ondhu Kanasu, is the director. The film has a budget of Rs. 2 crores. There are three songs set to tunes by Sanjeev; B.L. Babu is the cameraman. Other cast members include Sharma, Chandrasekhar, Shashidhar and Reeta.
