Aditi Govitrikar desperate to act in Kannada

Model-turned-actress Aditi Govitrikar, who has acted in films like 16 December, Paheli, Thammudu and Manoranjan, is said to be desperate to act in Kannada Films. Aditi, a gynecologist by profession, started her career as a model after winning the Gladrags contest in 1996. She has appeared in the ads like Clinic All Clear, Coca Cola, Ponds and Philips.

Recently, she was in Bangalore to attend a function. She expressed her feelings about Kannada film industry. Aditi, who entered the film industry through Telugu movie, also said that she liked the the way of producing a film in down South. Now the actress wants to make her debut in Kannada. She said, "If I get right opportunity in Kannada films, I'm ready to act."

Aditi's grand father was from Belgaum and her grandmother was from Hubli in Karnataka. When asked about whether she can speak Kannada, she said, I can't speak Kannada, but I will understand the language very well." She said that she liked people of Bangalore. She found a lot of difference between people of Bangalore and Mumbai. She also remembered her last visit to the city and eating Masala Dosa at the airport.
