Aftab Shivdasani debuting in Kannada film

After Sammir Dattani, Mukul Dev and Vivek Oberoi, one more Bollywood actor is now debuting in Kannada films. He is no other than Aftab Shivdasani. Yes! Director Pratap Gowda has made an official announcement that he has roped in Aftab Shivdasani for his much-hyped multi-starrer Kannada movie Udyan Express. According to him, Aftab is playing a pivotal role.

Aftab was first introduced to director Pratap Gowda through his friend Rama Iyer, who is also playing a small role in the film Udayan Express. He got impressed and accepted to play the role when the director approached him with his script. Pratap is very happy to work with him.

The movie Udyan Express has been facing problems one after another since its announcement. It is a big budget movie and will be made in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. The movie has already seen a big delay due to the unavailability of dates of various actors.

Earlier, it was reported that the director was planning to rope in actresses like Prachi Desai and Riya Sen. But he landed up with actresses like Garam Masala fame Nargis, Jennifer Kotwal, Hong Kong-based actress Mishti and Madhurima. Revathi Menon is also making her comeback to Kannada through this film.
