The
week
long
festival
Durga
Puja
has
already
started
this
Wednesday
and
it
is
pandal
hopping
time
for
Bengali-based
actress
Andrita
Ray
(Aindrita
Ray).
The
Kannada
actress,
who
is
eagerly
waiting
for
the
release
of
her
movie
Manasaare
with
actor
Diganth,
is
all
excited
about
Durga
puja
festival
in
Bangalore.
Actress
Andrita
Ray
has
already
gone
busy
with
Durga
puja
work
at
Ulsoor
home
in
Bangalore.
Talking
to
DNA
about
the
Durga
Puja,
Andita
Ray
said,
“We
are
actively
involved
with
the
Durga
puja
in
Ulsoor.
What
I
enjoy
the
most
is
serving
prasad
to
hundreds
of
people
all
through
the
day.
Though
cutting
all
those
fruits
that's
served
as
part
of
the
prasad
takes
a
long
time,
I
have
been
doing
it
religiously
for
many
years.
She
added,
“On
the
second
last
day,
Nabami,
my
friends
and
I
go
pandal
hopping
around
Bangalore.
As
a
kid,
on
the
last
day,
Dashami,
I
used
to
get
enthralled
by
the
sindoor
khela
that
my
mother
and
aunts
used
to
be
a
part
of.
I
wanted
to
be
a
part
of
it
too,
but
had
to
make
do
with
a
tiny
smearing
on
my
forehead.
What
I
love
most
about
the
Durga
puja
is
that
I
get
to
be
myself."
However,
Andrita
Ray
is
waiting
for
release
of
Manasaare
and
Januma
Janumadalli.
Her
debut
movie
in
Telugu
is
also
ready
for
release.
And
her
recently
released
movie
Vaayuputhra
is
doing
well
at
the
Box
office.
Presently,
she
busy
filming
Loose
Mada
a.k.a.
Yogish
starrer
Dhool.
