Anuradha ignored on Savaari audio cover
Kannada film industry has been infatuated by Bollywood so much so that Kannada singer Anuradha Bhat's name was ignored on the cover Savaari (Savari) audio CDs and cassettes. Instead of Anuradha Bhat's name, Bollywood singer Shreya Ghoshal's name was printed on it. It is said that Kannada native singers are often being ignored by Kannada film industry and this is a small example for the same.
'Marali Mareyagi....' is a very popular song in recently released movie Savaari. This song is in two forms. One form was sung by Sadhana Sargam and another was sung by Anuradha Bhat. But Sadhana Sargam and Shreya Ghoshal's names were printed and Anuradha's name was ignored.
Shreya Ghoshal has not sung even one song in the movie Savaari and printing her name on the cover of audio CDs and Cassettes has raised the eyebrows of many and lead to many speculations. Savaari music director Manikanth Kadri has blamed Ananda Audios for the blunder. He said, "My name was also printed wrongly in the first print. Despiting bring it to the notice of Ananda Audios, it has not been corrected in the second print."
