Manisha, Tulip and Mithun star in Kannada

Director Pratap Gowda is reportedly introducing several Bollywood actors to Kannada films through the movie Manikya. It is said that Bollywood stars like Manisha Koirala, Tulip Joshi and Mithun Chakraborty have already signed to star in Manikya.

Earlier, Bollywood actors were brought in to Kannada only for item numbers and guest role. But Pratap Gowda has gone a step ahead and he has planned to use them for lead roles in the movie. According to sources, actress Tulip Joshi will play a lead role, while Mithun Chakraborty plays villain in the movie Manikya. Actress Manisha Koirala will also play a prominent role, sources claim. But the film crew has kept everything secret.

"Movie Manikya has got many big stars. I don't want to talk much about the movie, because my father Pratap Gowda wants to surprise the audience," says the hero of the movie, actor Jeevan Gowda. However, Manikya will got to set in July.
